Called Velocity, the modified Veloster a collaboration between designer and engineering divisions of Hyundai's technical center in Americ California. The changes in the engine was in charge renowned British tuner Cosworth, who transformed the standard 1.6-liter engine arnas in turbopolnet-performance beast. With the upgrades consisting of new pistons, turbocharger, intercooler, system air intake system for fuel and reprogramming the computer unit of its engine power is increased from 201 hp and 265 Nm to 400 hp and 475 Nm torque moment.
Strengthening the engine is accompanied by changes to the chassis including a new suspension with Bilstein springs, Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers and two-part rotors, and a new set of 19-inch wheels wrapped in Kumho Ecsta SPT 275 / 35R19 tires with high performance.
Velocity also emphasizes the tremendous power through aggressive body kit with huge rear spoiler and rear diffuser, and interior changes that include the addition of a protective cage and a special Katzkin leather upholstery.
