Mia, Such beautiful roses and rose fabrics. I am looking forward yorkshire linen to seeing the quilt

I see the world through rose coloured glasses at the moment, it seems. I'm loving the roses in my garden (these beauties are Maiden's Blush) and I'm loving roses on fabrics. Along with some pink gingham fabric from my stash. With a bit of lilac thrown in for good measure (loving lilac too ;-) So what could be better than a rosy quilt...? I've put together some pretty fabrics, along with some old floral cushion covers that I no longer wish to use as such. They have all been washed and ironed, and are ready to be cut into rectangles for the quilt I have in mind. So come next rainy day and you'll find me in my little studio, yorkshire linen stitching these lovely fabrics into a quilt. Accompanied by some real roses, of course. What will you be up to come next rainy day...?

Your lineup of fabrics is just as pretty as a summer garden! I can't wait to see the quilt you create with them. I've been knitting up tiny wool strawberries to fill a canning jar as part of a gift for a friend. I guess rainy days are good for something after all! Have a good day! 9:26 p.m.

Next rainy day I will be making some rose fabric pillows for our sofa. It maybe tomorrow or Tuesday if the weather forecast is correct. I hope so as my garden needs a good soaking rain. Very lovely fabrics yorkshire linen and roses. A win-win combination the two together! I look forward to seeing what you do with them. The next rainy day here will find me sewing but sadly not a quilt, but mending the never ending pile of things that need fixing. 10:19 p.m.
The addition of the lilac color will be very nice, I think! Maiden's Blush is an old rose, isn't it? Next rainy day, if it's my day off, I may do a little painting in the kitchen. 11:58 p.m.

Våknet til styrtregn her, så det blir litt innetid idag. Dagen går nok med til hekling av sengeteppe og så skal jeg rydde utav et lite soverom og gå gjennom tre kasser babyklær :-).
